- Dr. Sonar's Advice
- 1. Brush thoroughly twice a day after meals . Using fluoridated toothpaste.
- 2. Avoid snacks between meals .
- 3. Remove plaque from between teeth and below the gumline.
- 4. Eat a well-balanced diet and avoid starchy or sugary foods.
- 5. When you do eat these foods, don’t forget to gargle with plain water atleast.
- 6. Take a fluoride supplement if you live in a non-fluoridated area.
- 7. Have regular dental checkups.
- 8. Brush thoroughly to remove stuck food particles from all surfaces of your teeth
- 9.Floss at leastonce a week to remove plaque from between your teeth and under your gumline,
where your toothbrush may not reach .
- 10. Schedule regular dental visits for professional cleanings and dental examinations.
- 11. Brushing your tongue will also help reduce bad breath .
- 12. Removing dentures each night and cleaning them well before replacing them each morning.
- 13. Visiting your dentist regularly for dental checkups and teeth cleanings.
- 14. ? Don’t use tooth pick frequently.
